Our stay at Lochsie Cottage was absolutely wonderful. The cottage itself is a hidden gem, tucked away in a quiet spot, yet conveniently close to Portree and all the attractions of Skye. The cottage has been beautifully renovated and is equipped with all the modern amenities you could need. The hosts were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We especially appreciated the peaceful setting and the spaciousness of the accommodation. The kitchen was well-stocked and the living area was massive, providing plenty of space to relax. We were even welcomed with a bottle of wine, which was a lovely touch. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the delayed check-in and the need for better cleaning in some areas, we would definitely choose to stay at Lochsie Cottage again on our next visit to Skye. we highly recommend this wonderful property for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at Lochsie Cottage for a month-long trip from Australia. The peaceful setting and spacious accommodations were perfect for relaxation. The cottage had high-quality fixtures, a well-stocked kitchen, and a cozy atmosphere. The bedroom was spacious, and the bathroom was even more so. The highlight was the massive living/dining/kitchen area. Ben, the managing agent, provided excellent communication throughout our stay. A welcome bottle of wine added a nice touch. We enjoyed strolling the beautiful gardens and cooking local seafood. Highly recommended!
Totally recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at a cozy cottage in a great location. Lochsie Cottage provided everything I needed, including a spacious living area and convenient self check-in/out. the little extras, like a bottle of wine and coffee, showed that the owners truly cared about their guests' comfort. the cottage was clean and had all the amenities I could ask for, including a well-equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. It was the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Isle of Skye, just a short drive from the town. I highly recommend Lochsie Cottage to others. Cons: It was all superb! 🌟.

The cottage was in a convenient location for exploring the area and had all the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable. We appreciated the option to self-cater and found the kitchen well-stocked. the cottage provided a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a long day of activities.
We did not receive arrival instructions in advance and had to contact the host ourselves. the lack of a mudroom or covered entry area made it difficult to take off our boots, especially during the winter months when the carpeted floors could become dirty.

The cottage itself was clean and warm, providing a cozy atmosphere during our New Year stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the necessary appliances, making it easy to prepare meals. the location was perfect for exploring the island, as it was both quiet and close to the main town, allowing us to easily access amenities and activities.
The lack of instructions for using appliances and heating, even though they were supposedly available on a tablet. This made it a bit challenging to operate them.

The location was perfect for exploring the Isle of Skye and just a short drive from the town. We loved being greeted by the adorable sheep on our way to and from the cottage. The facilities were very clean and the cottage itself was cozy and perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed to cook meals. We also appreciated the spacious fridge for storing our groceries.
Although the bed was comfortable, we expected a larger bed in a bedroom of that size. The quality of the duvet and pillows could be improved as well.

Loved the little touches like a bottle of wine and Arran Aromatics toiletries. Quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing after exploring the island. Would love to come back in the future.
Curtains not dark enough at night.

We got great value for our money at Lochsie Cottage. The room was spacious, well-furnished, and had all the modern amenities we needed. The location was perfect for exploring the island, and the staff treated us with empathy and professionalism.
The breakfast experience could have been improved with a local welcome basket, like we've experienced in other places.
